Base adds 53,000 net postpaid customers in Q2

Belgian mobile operator Base Company, formally KPN Group Belgium, added 53,000 net postpaid customers in the second quarter, partially driven by prepaid migration triggered by the company's new product portfolio. This was the highest number of net adds since Q4 2005. The operator lost 54,000 net prepaid customers. Underlying revenues decreased by 5.7 percent in the quarter, due to lower mobile service revenues and other revenues, down 3.6 percent from the year before on pricing pressure. Base said it nevertheless outperformed the market and expects it grew its service revenue market share to
