Base improves postpaid net adds to 13,000 in Q3

Tuesday 27 October 2015 | 11:13 CET | News
Belgian mobile operator Base said it added 13,000 new postpaid customers in the third quarter, helped by its new tariff plans launched in May. The acceleration from 7,000 net adds in Q2 was accompanied by a stable postpaid ARPU of EUR 31 in the quarter. The company also reported postpaid data usage up 80 percent year-on-year to an average 500 MB per customer per month. Total revenues were still down 3.4 percent to EUR 170 million, mainly due to the company's exit from the fixed broadband market. The latter helped reduce costs, which led to an increase in the adjusted EBITDA margin to 27.1
