Base payment app doubles users to 100,000

Telenet's mobile unit Base has attracted 100,000 users to its PayByMobile payment service, double from the year before. The users bought over 1.2 million purchases in the year, with an average of EUR 6.03 per purchase. Google Play and iTunes introduced the service in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Google announced this month that over 900 million Android users can pay via their phone card. The payment option will also become possible for the Microsoft Windows10 store from 22 June.
