Base reaches 25,000 customers for fixed-line offer

Sunday 9 February 2014 | 13:25 CET | News
Belgian mobile operator Base announced that it has 25,000 customers for its fixed-line offer Snow, a year since the launch. Another 5,000 customers are waiting to be activated. Base, a subsidiary of Dutch operator KPN, offers dual- or triple-play plans over VDSL, for which it has a wholesale agreement with Belgacom. Almost all (93%) of customers choose the triple-play plan at EUR 39 per month, Base said, while the remainder take internet and TV or telephony, for respectively EUR 35 and EUR 39. Snow was launched in February 2013 and within three months Base signed up 15,000 customers.
