Base to take over Allo telecom shops

Tuesday 25 November 2014 | 13:30 CET | News
Belgian mobile operator Base has acquired the Allo telecom shops and will re-brand them to Base from January. All 132 staff at the 45 shops and head office will remain in place. In April, Allo sold 27 of its 72 shops as part of a major restructuring of its services. Base said it then met with the company to look at further integrating their operations. The switch to Base has been approved by unions and the works council. Base said the acquisition will further strengthen its retail footprint, and Allo will continue to offer its popular 'repair and go' service.
