Batelco backs ongoing efforts of TRA Sim card registration rules

Bahrain operator Batelco has reminded its customers about the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA)'s Sim card enabled telecommunications services registration regulation when registering for mobile services, which came into effect on 12 July. The TRA has introduced a regulation governing the registration of both prepaid and Postpaid mobile SIM-cards for all of Bahrain's mobile operators, including Batelco. The regulation, which applies to consumer, commercial and government entities, states that all mobile customers are required to complete the registration and verification process
