Bavarian municipalities start receiving subsidies to cover grey spots

The municipalities of Barbing, Weding, and Baiersdorf have become the first in the German state of Bavaria to start receiving financial support to cover so-called grey NGA spots, where internet is supplied at a speed of at least 30 Mbps. The European Commission approved Bavaria's plan to accelerate network expansion in grey NGA spots after two years of negotiations.
