Music Choice Europe (MCE), BSkyB's 49% owned 44-channel digital audio service, has appointed Simon Bazalgette as its chief executive following the resignation of Stuart Graber. Bazalgette had previously been the director of sales, and he believes that the company's future may lie in E-commerce as much as in broadcasting. MCE lost GBP150k/wk in 1998, despite rolling its service out into two mil European homes. MCE's GBP4.99/mo premium service is sold to 4% of Sky Digital's currently estimated 900k subscribers, giving it around 36k UK subscribers. Graber is leaving to consult for online
