BBC Academy invites apprenticeship applications

The BBC announced that recruitment is now open for five BBC Academy apprenticeship scheme, including a new industry-designed Apprenticeship Standard in Production. This scheme will hire apprentices into operational areas in TV, Network Radio and News. The announcement includes the return of the BBC Local Apprenticeship. The scheme offers two apprentice qualifications in Broadcast Operations and Digital Journalism, based with local BBC teams across the country. It will offer 21 entry-level opportunities this year, plus more opportunities in a further 24 locations in 2017.
