BBC announces changes to BBC News Board

The BBC has announced a restructure of the BBC News Board. This will involve the removal of five posts and the creation of three new roles, with changes coming into effect in March. The changes are part of an ongoing restructure of BBC News, first announced by Director of BBC News Fran Unsworth in 2020 to respond to changing viewer behaviour, cut costs and increase the impact of BBC journalism.
