BBC announces restructure of TV division; annual iPlayer requests pass 5 billion

BBC Chief Content Officer Charlotte Moore has announced a major restructure of BBC TV to deliver more value for audiences across all platforms. The changes to commissioning will reflect changing viewer behaviour, drive future growth of iPlayer and strengthen its content portfolio. The new model will take effect from April 2021.
