BBC iPlayer registers over 4 billion programme requests in 2019

The BBC confirmed that iPlayer surpassed 4 billion requests to stream programmes for the first time in 2019, with a total of 4.4 billion requests. The 2019 performance was up around 12 percent on 2018.
