BBC laptop donation campaign for schools raises over GBP 700,000

The BBC's 'Make a Difference: Give a Laptop' campaign has now raised more than GBP 700,000 in financial donations. The campaign to get home schooling technology to disadvantaged/vulnerable families was launched by all 39 BBC local radio stations earlier in January.
