BBC R&D working on BBC Box device for personalised, tailored content

BBC R&D is working on new ways of storing and using data, including personal data, to see what benefits this could bring. One of these projects is codenamed 'BBC Box', a prototype device that pulls together data about users in one place. The device runs using the Databox personal data management system and is powered by a Raspberry Pi computer.
