BBC to add iPlayer features before autumn schedule

BBC iPlayer will add live restart on connected TVs, cross-devices pause and resume, and 'my programmes'. The BBC writes that the new features form part of its strategy to make BBC iPlayer more personal. They will roll out just before the start of the autumn season, which will see the return of Doctor Who, Sherlock and Strictly Come Dancing.
