BDI calls for govt to focus on robust digital infrastructure

The Federation of German Industries (BDI) has called on the Federal Government to ensure that the country has a robust, high-performance broadband infrastructure to drive forward the digital economy. Speaking at CeBIT, BDI president Ulrich Grillo said that industry was not happy with the roll-out of digital networks. He warned that Germany was a long way from having the high-performance digital infrastructure that it needs to avoid falling behind other countries.
