BDUK delivers superfast broadband to 3.63 mln premises

A total of 3.63 million UK premises had a superfast broadband services made available as of end-December 2015 as a result of BDUK projects, according to the latest Broadband Performance Indicator data. BDUK grants to local authorities and budget transfers to devolved administrations amounted to a cumulative GBP 406.92 million in cash terms up to end-2015. This equates to 8,909 premises covered per million pounds of broadband delivery programme expenditure.
