Russian mobile operator Beeline, controlled by the Veon Group, raised the number of LTE base stations by 44 percent year-on-year in the third quarter. The number of LTE and LTE-Advanced base stations has been raised by 120 percent within the last 18 months. About 84 percent of the country's population was covered with the network by the end of September.
