Beeline loses 1.6 mln mobile customers in Russia in Q4

The mobile subscriber base of Russian operator Vimpelcom, working under the Beeline brand, grew by 1 percent in 2013 to 56.51 million, but the group lost 1.59 million customers in the fourth quarter alone. The operator experienced a slowdown in revenue and ARPU in the last quarter. Total revenues fell 4 percent year-on-year to RUB 70.7 billion, and mobile service revenues declined by 2 percent to RUB 56.2 billion.
