Beeline upgrades network in Moscow with 10,000 new base stations in 2020

Russian operator Beeline said it invested RUB 15.5 billion in the expansion and development of its network in the city and region of Moscow in 2020. The first stage of this upgrade programme was completed at the end of 2019 and included the modernisation of the network up to the 5G-Ready standard. During the second stage, the operator focused on the deployment of new infrastructure, and more than 10,000 new base stations were built in the region in 2020.
