Beeline Uzbekistan revenues slightly up, EBITDA down in Q4

Monday 25 February 2019 | 16:49 CET | News
Revenues of the mobile operator Beeline Uzbekistan grew by 1.2 percent year-on-year to 77 USD million in the fourth quarter of 2018. Mobile service revenue increased by an organic 1.4 percent, driven by a repricing initiative which helped offset the negative impact of the reduction in mobile termination rates. Mobile data traffic more than doubled, and mobile data revenue increased by 52.1 percent, supported by the continued roll-out of broadband networks, increased smartphone penetration and the increased penetration of bundled offerings in the operator's customer base to 49 percent.
