BeIN arrives on Moroccan TV market, building on digital presence

Morocco's High Authority for Audiovisual Communication (HACA) has authorised BeIN to commercialise its TV channel bundles in the country, reports Agence Ecofin. The media group's licence, awarded to a local subsidiary named BeIN for General Trade & Distribution, is valid until 31 July 2020 and can be extended further if its terms are respected. HACA will receive a fee of MAD 600,000 per year, plus a payment corresponding to five percent of the company's annual revenues.
