Belgacom Q1 revenue down 6.7%, maintains FY outlook

Belgacom reported first-quarter revenues down 6.7 percent from a year earlier to EUR 1.48 billion. Consumer revenue fell 3.1 percent, and Enterprise revenue was down 2.7 percent, while International Carrier Services (BICS) posted a 14 percent drop to EUR 357 million, hurt by lower voice traffic. Excluding BICS and a one-time benefit last year, revenue was down 3 percent, led by a 6.0 percent in mobile revenue to EUR 318 million. Belgacom's EBITDA fell 6.6 percent to EUR 412 million, with the margin stable at 27.8 percent. Net profit declined 13.6 percent to EUR 152 million. Capex was down 7.3
