Belgian start-ups launch Joyn customer loyalty app

The Belgian start-ups CityLife, Qustomer and Het Opzet have merged to form the new company Joyn, claiming to be the biggest platform for customer loyalty cards in Belgium with 1.4 million users and around 4,000 merchants. The Joyn card and app will bring together all a user's customer cards in one place. The card is scanned on an iPad at the point of sale to collect points. In addition to creating a platform for consumer benefits, Joyn provides a new marketing platform for merchants, to collect information about customers and present them with offers.
