Belgian startup PieSync raises EUR 1.5mln for cloud sync app

Belgium-based startup PieSync has secured EUR 1.5 million in financing from a series of investors led by Ark Angels Activator Fund and SOFI (PMV). The startup offers a platform that connects a host of cloud applications and syncs stored contacts two-way and in real time. PieSync already supports many high-profile cloud applications including Podio, Pipedrive, Mailchimp, Google Contacts, Nimble, OnePageCRM, and SalesForce. PieSync said it will use the new funding to expand the list of supported SaaS applications to 200 by 2017 and 500 by 2018.
