Bell Canada starts public offering of CAD 550 mln worth of medium term notes

Bell Canada has announced a public offering of CAD 550 million worth of medium term notes. The 2.90 percent notes will mature on 10 September 2029, fully guaranteed by BCE. Bell said it will use the money raised by the offering to repay short-term debt.
