Bell Canada wants CAD 150 mln in damages from Quebecor

Monday 29 April 2019 | 10:50 CET | News
Quebecor said Bell Canada has filed a claim for CAD 150 million in damages from Quebecor. A carriage dispute started between the companies earlier this month, resulting in the cut off from Bell of Quebecor's TVA Sports. The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (RTC) took Bell Canada's side, and imposed a mandatory order on TVA, saying it would suspend the channel's license should it engage in a similar action.
