Bell Media acquires Quebec's V network for undisclosed sum

Bell Media said it has agreed with the shareholders of Groupe V Media to acquire conventional network V along with related digital assets including the advertising-supported VoD service Noovo.ca. This reinforces choice for French language viewers and strengthens the Quebec television system, it said. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and financial details were not disclosed.
