Benin's Isocel to deploy FTTP network in Cotonou

Benin's telecom operator Isocel announced the start of a fibre-to-the-premise deployment project in the city of Cotonou, bringing faster broadband services to business and residential customers. In the first phase of the project, the operator plans to invest in a 70 km network, enabling current subscribers to migrate from fixed wireless to FTTP-based broadband access. Named iNGAN (Isocel Next Generation Access Network), the infrastructure should expand to 450 km by next year.
