Berec inks cooperation deal with Canada's CRTC on broadband development, net neutrality

Canadian regulator CRTC (Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission) said it has signed an agreement with EU regulator Berec (Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications) to form a cooperative relationship focused on a number of broad themes, including broadband development and network neutrality. The regulatory bodies said they will share information on common challenges and work towards achieving best practice. There are plans for roundtable discussions and the exchange of working papers.
