Berlin to expand free Wi-Fi service on city buses

Thursday 18 October 2018 | 14:13 CET | News
The Berlin public transport operator BVG is expanding a test of Wi-Fi on city buses. It expects at least 180 buses to be equipped for the internet services in the next four months. It already tested the service last year on 30 buses and said it saw a strong response from passengers. The state government is contributing around EUR 600,000 for the project, which will target heavy-traffic bus lines.
