Berlin to get 650 free public WLAN hotspots by year-end

The Senate of Berlin has commissioned the company ABL Social Federation to install several hundred free public WLAN sites across the capital, heise.de reports. The wireless networks are due to be installed in every district, not just in the centre. ABL plans to provide the city with 650 hotspots by the end of the year.
