Bezeq plans to make 800 workers redundant - report

Bezeq Israel is preparing to make 800 workers at its subsidiaries redundant as part of its plans to merge the group's operations, Globes reported, citing sources. The redundancies will be spread over three years and several sources say that the number could be even higher. Bezeq and its subsidiaries have about 5,500 employees, so that the cutbacks would affect 15 percent of the workforce.
