Bezeq to upgrade internet service to 15 Mbps free of charge

Israeli operator Bezeq said it will upgrade internet access speeds free of charge, providing a 15 Mbps service to 85 percent of subscribers when the measure is completed in a few years, Globes reported. The company said that at least 900,000 subscribers will have access at 15 Mbps in 2013. As part of the measure, Bezeq will upgrade the internet access speed of almost all customers by 50 percent. The upgrade will be automatic but customers will have to adjust their internet plan with their ISP. Bezeq customers with less than 5 Mbps will automatically be upgraded to 5 Mbps, and all customers
