Bharti Infratel quarterly profit down 4%, revenue up 4%

Indian towers operator Bharti Infratel reported revenues for its fiscal first quarter ended 30 June 2018 up 4 percent year-on-year to INR 36.73 billion. EBITDA declined 3 percent to INR 15.20 billion, giving a margin of 41.4 percent, compared to 44.7 percent in the year-earlier period. Operating free cash flow was flat year-on-year at INR 9.91 billion. Quarterly net profit fell 4 percent to INR 6.38 billion. Bharti Infratel ended June 2018 with a total tower base of 91,759, with total co-locations of 200,778 and closing sharing factor at 2.19. Co-location losses for the quarter reached 4,818.
