Bharti Infratel's quarterly profit down 6%, revenue up 1%

Indian towers operator Bharti Infratel reported revenues for its fiscal first quarter ended 30 September 2018 up 1 percent year-on-year to INR 36.66 billion. EBITDA dropped 8 percent to INR 15.06 billion, giving a margin of 41.1 percent. Operating free cash flow also declined by 18 percent year-on-year to INR 9.98 billion. Quarterly net profit fell 6 percent to INR 6 billion. Bharti Infratel ended September 2018 with a total tower base of 92,123, with total co-locations of 174,512 and closing sharing factor at 1.89.
