Binge-watching up 18% worldwide - study

Streaming video viewing has reached a record high of six hours, 48 minutes a week, with 82 percent of viewers worldwide now binge-watching shows online, according to the new "State of Online Video 2019" report from Limelight Networks. Total time spent binge-watching jumped 18 percent from last year to an average of two hours, 40 minutes at a time, with Americans averaging over three hours, said the report.
