Bite Lithuania cleared to acquire Latvian TV channels

Latvian government has cleared the acquisition by mobile operator Bite Lithuania of Latvian TV-channels TV3 Latvia and LNT, as well as of radio station Star FM, reports Vz.lt. Clearance by the government was necessary as the Latvian companies hold a significant share of the Latvian media market.
