Bitkom supports action day for people with sight problems

German ICT organisation Bitkom said it is supporting the German association for the blind and visually impaired, DBSV, in a day of action. They will promote the use of applications for people with sight disabilities, to make it easier for them to use digital media. On 06 June, volunteers and trained members of the DBSV will be attending events where they will provide information on how people with visual impairments can use smartphones and tablets. For instance, the can use voice support apps, enlarge text fonts or change the colours displayed. According to the World Health Organisation
