Bitkom urges German firms to boost use of social networks

German industry group Bitkom is calling on German businesses to accelerate the adoption of digital technology. A survey by the group found that 8 in 10 businesses (79%) still frequently use fax machines for internal or external communications. This compares to only 40 percent using online or video conferencing, and only 15 percent using social networks.
