BlackBerry 10.1 unveiled, Skype app added

BlackBerry announced an update to its latest operating system. Blackberry 10.1 will be offered first to owners of the BlackBerry Z10. New features include support for PIN to PIN messages in the BlackBerry Hub, more personalised notifications, improvements to cursor control and an HDR shooting mode for taking pictures in difficult lighting conditions. The update will be rolling out with carrier partners in the coming weeks. Once upgraded, BlackBerry Z10 users will also be able to access the new Skype app for BlackBerry 10.
