BlackRock ups Masmovil stake to 5.65%

US investment fund BlackRock has increased its stake in Spanish telecommunications provider Masmovil, the country's fourth largest network operator, to 5.65 percent. A filing at securities markets regulator CNMV confirmed that BlackRock now owns shares valued at around EUR 143 million compared to Masmovil's stock market capitalisation of around EUR 2.5 billion. In November the fund manager revealed that it had a 4.52 percent stake in Masmovil.
