Blockbonds I&M Bank Rwanda launch blockchain-based platform

Blockbonds has teamed up with I &M Bank Rwanda to launch the first blockchain-based platform, SPENN, reports New Times. This mobile banking application will enable people to make a range of financial transactions. SPENN was developed by Blockbonds, a Norwegian financial technology company aiming for formal financial inclusion of the unbanked population, which remains relatively high in the country. The app allows smartphone users to transact and pay for goods and services.
