BND shares up to 1.3 billion metadata points with NSA

German federal intelligence service BND sents up to 1.3 billion meta data points per month to the NSA, according to German newspaper Die Zeit citing BND documents. In total, BND collects up to 6.6 billion of those data points per month which means that NSA does not receive everything. The newspaper speculates that all meta data collected in the Middle East is shared completely with the NSA, but metadata from Germany or other European countries not all.
