BNetzA said IoT raises risk of malware infection

The Federal Network Agency, BnetzA, is calling on German telecommunications service providers to step up the fight against botnets, which can infect other people's computers and use them to criminal ends. The agency said it supports the police in tackling botnets. . Increased device networking, such as through the Internet of Things (IoT) only worsens the danger of attacks, it said.
