Bolivia to begin analogue switch off in November 2021

Bolivia will finally begin switching off analogue signal across the country in late 2021 after suspending the process last year, reports NexTV LatAm, citing telecommunications vice minister Rene Sanchez. The first blackout will take place in La Paz, Santa Cruz de la Sierra and Cochabamba on 30 November 2021, followed by towns and cities with a population of over 40,000 on 30 November 2023 and the rest of the country at the end of 2025.
