Bolivia to invest USD 16.5 mln in satellite control center

The Bolivian government plans to invest around USD 16.5 million to build a control station for its Tupac Katari satellite, local newspaper Los Tiempos reports, citing Bolivia's vice-president Alvaro Garcia Linera. The satellite is currently under construction in the El Alto municipality. Tupac Katari is scheduled for launch in December 2013.
