Bolivian mobile broadband lines up to 6.05 mln

The number of Bolivian smartphones with mobile broadband has increased to 6.05 million, some 57.6 percent of the country's 10.5 million mobile lines, reports local daily La Razon. According to the data gathered, state-run operator Entel has the highest number of mobile broadband users – around 2.5 million – followed by Tigo (Millicom) with 1.8 million and Viva (Nuevatel) with 1.75 million mobile data subscribers. La Razon recently revealed that the three operators had invested around USD 460 million in modernising their telecoms networks in the first nine months of the year.
