Bolivian regulator introduces charitable mobile rate

Bolivian telecoms regulator ATT announced that disabled mobile telephony customers qualified for a special charitable prepay rate of BOB 0.80 per minute for their prepay calls starting 15 January. The operators Entel, Tigo and Viva will be sent a list of customers who qualify for the special rate, which will be updated by the regulator and the country's health ministry on a daily basis. The maximum available discount will be BOB 50 per month, said the regulator.
