Bolivian telecoms regulator appoints new president

Bolivia's public works ministry has announced the appointment of Carlos Borth as the new director of the country's telecommunications and transport regulation authority ATT. Borth, who replaces interim director Luis Felipe Guzman, was previously controller at Bolivian telephony cooperative Cotel and pledged to use his experience of regulatory issues to strengthen the country's telecommunications and transport industries.
